The Uses of Aqua Fortis…

The Uses of Aqua Fortis:
(i) Aqua fortis is used for the production of ammonium nitrate, a major component of fertilizers.
(ii) As an oxidiser in rocket fuels.
(iii) It is also used for producing explosives like nitroglycerin and trinitrotoluene (TNT) and for oxidizing metals.
(iv) In the pickling of stainless steel and etching of metals.
