The group properties of an element depend on valency and number of shells in an atom. There are 7 properties of group as follows:
(i) Ionization Energy
(ii) Metallic Property
(iii) Shielding Effect
(iv) Atomic Radii
(v) Electron Affinity
(vi) Electronegativity.
