The difference between Reaction Rate and Specific Rate Constant –
(i) Specific rate constant only cannot give a valid statement of the reaction speed.
(ii) The specific rate constant is the proportionality constant, which gives the reaction rate an indication of the speed at which reactions are converted into products.
(iii) Specific rate constant is a part of reaction rate.
