The Chemical Properties of Group 18 Elements –
(i) The members of the group have eight electrons in their outermost orbit.
(ii) The noble gases have very high ionization energies.
(iii) Noble gases are all monoatomic, colourless, and odourless gases.
(iv) Group 18 has electron affinities greater than positive values.
