Progressive Wave …
Progressive Wave is wave motion in which the whole periodic displacement advances through the medium. At any instant, the disturbance changes with time and is represented by the equation
y = α sin 2π (tv – x/λ)
where α is the amplitude, v is the frequency and λ is the wavelength of the wave.
