Inductance of a Solenoid – The magnetic flux through each turn is,
Փ_B = BS = μ₀ NS/l ×I
Here, S is the cross-sectional area of the solenoid. Now,
n = N/l is the number of turns per unit length
L = Nɸ_B/I = N/I(μ₀ NSI/l)
