Characteristics of Covalent Compounds – Characteristic of covalent compounds are as
(i) Covalent compounds are generally gases or liquids or soft solids,
(ii) Polar covalent compounds are good conductors of electricity.
(iii) Non-polar covalent compounds are insoluble in water.
(iv) Covalent compounds have low melting point and boiling point.
