Biuret Process in Proteins…
Biuret Process in Proteins a few drops of CuSo4 solution are added to an alkaline solution of protein, a bluish violet colour appears. It indicates the presence of peptide linkage. This test is also given by the compound biuret obtained by urea on heating.
